Bath England

Here are some photos from Bath today. These don't really do it justice! It is by far the most amazing city I've seen in England! Every where you looked it was just so pretty!! All the buildings were in the same stone, same style, there were huge rows of houses that curved up streets and ran in straight lines. It was great! I absolutely loved it! And of course the sun was shinging so it really was awesome!
John walked me around the whole place and then we stopped and ate a pizza each at this little place around the corner from the Roman Baths. So yummy! They had just set up a courtyard out back and when you get out there you have a view of the side of teh abbey! It was great!
After that I faded, lunch coma! So we caught the bus back to where we parked. On the way up there we spotted this amazing cemetery right along a ridge overlooking the town and valley so we drove back to it and had a wander. It was called Lansdon Cemetery. The place was packed with gravestones and they had mowed little lanes in between the rows but for the most part it was overgrown. That was how they had intended it. Very interesting way of looking at it. Humans going back to nature or something like that. I'll have to reread the sign again. It was really neat anyways. As far as cemetery's go! I didn't include photos of it here.
So Bath was great! Go there, make plans to spend money, the spa isn't cheap. I didn't go in but you can go swim for about 22 pounds for 2 hours. Everything else costs way more money!
This weekend will include more sightseeing then I am off to Poole again to see Tony. And hopefully shortly after that headed to Dublin and then Valencia. We'll see if I can pull it off or not.
I'll keep you posted.
K
