Day Three!!

Awesome day today! Again...I know I'm using that word alot these days!

We had a little bit of class today then headed to the pool for more suit time. We had to flip a life raft by ourselves (not in our suits) and then we had to throw the suits into the water and get into them. It was really hard but really funny at the same time. Getting out of the water was teh best part though! We were all beached whales and our suits were full of water so we were just purging streams of water it was so funny! You kinda had to be there. I wish I'd had my camera today for sure! We also got to try the fill jeans with air adn float. Guess what?! That works! It was really more impressive than I thought.

So the rest of the day was classroom...

Tomorrow we fight fire, we put out a galley fire and some other stuff. I'm taking my camera for that.

When I got back to Kirkland I headed to the grocery store for supplies and ran into my cousin who took me to hit some golf balls at the driving range. Its been a while since I've done that but it was fun. Golf is fun, its really challenging! And for 85 golf balls I only had maybe 10 good hits...pretty sad!

Its been so great. What a week! Today I talked to one of the girls in our class (she joined us yesterday) she is a steward on private yachts. She helps people get jobs. She has contacts in Europe. She is really terrific. So cool! You should have seen her jump into the life raft today! She did it in one leap the rest of us were put to shame!

So, I'll keep you posted on fire school! So cool! Can't wait! I'm attaching a picture of my ride to work each day. Its parked at the fire station where my cousin works. And yes ladies I'm surrounded by hot firemen all day long...tough break eh?! Mitch's twin brother was back again today, teaching first aid to some big salty fisherman. Oh man that guy is handsome!

So enough for now. I'm headed to bed early tonight, its going to be a really tough day tomorrow. I can't wait!
