I left the house early this morning so that I could beat traffic on I-5. I got there so early! Weather has been so nice here that the drive into Seattle has been awesome! The mountains are out of the clouds all around the city. I'm getting used to my hotrod Jeep Wrangler now so its been more fun to get around. And I have a birds eye view since its has no top on it.
Class was awesome! We did First Aid and CPR today. My instructor was a firefighter from Bellevue. Oh my gosh. Lets just say, I volunteered to be the victim alot today. He took my pulse at one point and he said well its racing right now because I put her on the spot and I'm like "yeah right that's the problem" ha!
He looks alot like Mitch, for any of you who know who that is.
Later on I volunteered (again) and ended up completely surrounded by my class mates being strapped onto a backboard. It was an absolute invasion of my space bubble. can you imagine that! I told them all I had personal space issues and they laughed because by then I was strapped in. It was kinda funny!
Anyways, tomorrow is Survival Suit day in the harbor. I guess we get suited up and jump into the water and who knows what. I have no idea! Its going to be great! The class I am in is full of people working on Tug Boats and Marine Biology boats, cruise ships, tall ships. Everyone is really nice and full of information for me! I am so excited for the future because who knows what is going to happen. The people I met today gave me so much to think about!!
So, I carpool into Seattle with my cousin tomorrow I am excited for that! He teaches the class tomorrow so that should be fun! Should be an interesting day!
Its been so nice in Seattle I've been able to work on a tan in the evenings. Its pretty terrific!
I think I've said Fun Terrfic, Great enough for now.
I'll take my camera tomorrow and see if I can get some snaps of us in the water etc.
