Playa Comtesa

I caught the bus to the beach. Basically you go to the end of the line, walk down a hill and there you are at the beach. It was pretty busy with people but not too bad. Still places to lay your towel and stuff. The water is not warm here, I am shocked! I was shocked I should say, when I walked in and it took my breath away for a second.
Its really quite warm outside here now so the water feels good once you get used to it. The beaches in Palma are topless beaches too. Who knew! It was a real surprise to look around and see boobs everywhere. did you know how many shapes and sizes they come in? Thousands!! :) And for the most part not good either :) I stayed top-on. Too chicken!
The water was amazingly blue and the view was spectacular!! I'll go back and take pictures now that I know what to expect!
It is hard to describe how beautiful this place is! And going around to the beach was a nice ride too. The Cala Major area is loaded with fancy hotels and beach stands and nice patio restaurants. It shouldn't be any other way though really. Its so hot here and then they don't air condition inside so who wants to sit in a hot restaurant with no moving air. blech! Makes you lose your appetite!
I went grocery shopping before I went to the beach and found milk was on the shelf. Like a regular can of juice or something. Not cold! Wow! So I didn't have cereal this morning after all, its been in the fridge chilling for a bit so maybe for lunch I'll have some cereal! We are getting meat for dinner so that will be good. I'm living on white food. Bread, chips, cereal, chips. Coca Cola. Water. I did have some vitamins this morning so that is good! Getting used to an entirely new diet is a challenge. You really have to think about it. The food all looks pretty good though so I won't be starving. Its just weird to get in the mind set of buying a whole set of things to eat, like salad, dressing, stuff to go on the salad etc. people in europe seem to have it figured out. I will have to pay attention.
So, I'm going to wash off the ocean and take a quick nap before I head out for another walk. I'll take some photos this time! Its so nice in Palma! I can see why people come for holiday here!
I'm going to go find lunch. More later.
Its weird I've had a half a day of adventure and you guys aren't even up yet. (except for you Uncle Stan, Aunt Maureen!) You should join me here in Palma! Before it gets too hot! (it might be too late :)
