Recovery Day

Funny mood in class today. Everyone very tired and some on edge about this two week class. Since its every day without a break it is wearing us down a bit. But it will be a bit like that on tours I'm thinking so its probably good we trudge on. Poor Chris is missing his family really bad right now and Evan closed on a house and has missed that move it with his girlfriend. The rest of us are just trying to figure out what to do next.
Today class was about Rail and Cruise travel. Um yes, I've found my niche. Bus tours, oof. Tough! As an independent traveler I'm amazed people subject themselves to travel that way but I understand its necessity so I guess its fine.
After class Evan and Casey and I went to his hotel room to work on our homework and Casey and I were like kids in a candy store with that big room and it was quiet and he had it to himself. Oh man, how nice!
After we worked for a while we walked to Chevy's for a quick bite and then we split up to go do our homework etc.
My roommate was already in bed so I walked to the Nikko to do my homework and Casey was there working hard so I joined him.
Right now someone has walked through the parking garage and set off the alarms. Its great. I can't believe how noise this room is. Usually I'm tired enough to sleep through it but being in class all day isn't really exercise.
Tomorrow we do our Colorado Rockies tour critique and it should be interesting. It was not an easy assignment. Doing a routing with stops and lunches etc. You really kind of have to know what to expect a little bit. But I guess thats why we do the lesson. To know how long between restrooms etc.
I'm still thinking cruising would be the way to go. As a host on a ship I'm running around making sure people are happy and helping with shore excursions etc. I could get back to Palma that way too. I know the ships stop there.
So, its bedtime now. I'm going to put my earplugs in and put something heavy over my head and hope for the best. At least we didn't get another roommate tonight. After our last one woke up at 5am to talk on the phone. Ouch!
