Oh Idaho

Back in Idaho again. I spent most of my day at my house, trying to do one thing at a time. It was a little overwhelming. Its kind of hard to be there and not want to just unpack and settle in. I really like that house and I had great plans for the garden. Then I went and changed the whole thing. I find it amusing that I struggle with two totally different types of living. I really enjoy traveling and living with just a pack full of stuff. Finding kitchens along the way and everything is so much simpler. Then there is the person who really wants to just settle in and set up house and stay put somewhere. I really like the idea of that too.
So what to do?! My mother asked me today if, when I was living out a backpack, I missed the "stuff" I have in storage and I don't really miss it. Today having my hands on all of it it was harder to say that. But getting rid of it is going to be necessary.
Anyways. Its nice to be back in Idaho for a while. My last day in San Francisco was a fun one mostly. I saw the inside of the City Hall and walked around the outside of the buildings in that area. They were putting together this huge sculpture with a crane and it was really something to watch, the artist was there and they had a whole team of people making sure it didn't all smash into anything.
Walter came and picked me up and took me to the Oakland Airport via Roland Way where I used to work. Wow. The landscaping is as impressive as ever. None of the sculptures are there but thats to be expected. We also drove over to the Walmart where the restaurants were that I used to eat lunch at all the time. That Walmart was my first experience in the city of Oakland. Yikes! People would open packages and steal stuff and you'd find garbage left everywhere. Then a big scary woman would stop you at the door and check your bag and receipt.
So I had a nice quiet wait for the plane to Boise.
I flew home on Southwest and it was great fun. That airline is always nice, in my opinion. They had a stewardess on there that was hilarious. She joked her way through everything! We were all cracking up.
Tomorrow I have the carpet cleaned in my house and I meet with a realtor to see what my options are for my house.
Now I just get caught up with everyone and apply for jobs! Lots of companies out there just waiting for me.
