I can't believe how much walking I've done in the last few days. Wow! I'm beat up! I do actually have really sore feet too. My flip flops are folding under the pressure. I am unpacking my real shoes tomorrow so I'm better equipped. Though tomorrow I hope to not be walking as much. I am going to try and get to a game at the Giants Stadium. Should be fun. They have been having some tournament or something, so games every day. Its amazing to see the turn out. My train/bus goes right through the crowd. We just skim the noses of the closest people while they wait to cross the street between street cars and we get out of the way.
I have more driving with Amin tomorrow morning. Which will be fine but I have to get up early to get there and that is a drag. It takes like 2 hours to get there from here. Hopefully I can make it there on time.
My actually driving test is Monday morning. I hope it goes well...I guess. I'm so tired of this whole thing at this point I'm having a bad attitude about it. I'm sure Amin will not appreciate that. He's been giving up his time to meet me and drive around with me.
I forgot today was Saturday and after all of my practice driving with Stephen today I ended up at Fisherman's Wharf with every visitor in the city it seemed like. I couldn't believe it. I've never been there when it was that busy.
Pretty uneventful day today. I did fail my driving test (practice) with Stephen today, that was a real bummer! But now I know better what to watch out for.
We did see one really cool place. Called Brain Wash. Its a laundromat with a bar in it. What an ingenious idea that is. It has a cafe and internet and a bar and a ton of washers and dryers. That's what I'm talking about.
I went by the Tacolicious place where Evan and Chris and I had that tequila. That place was PACKED! Standing room only. Most of the places on Chestnut were though, Saturday night adn everyone was out and dressed in their finest. I didn't even pack a finest. I have a tourist outfit for every day. Pretty soon I'll buy an I heart SF shirt and the image will be complete. Enough rambling today.
