Big News Today

My first tour. Day trip to Yosemite! I leave tomorrow early. I'll do the hotel pickups and then off I go to the park! I don't even know my route to get there yet. I'll study up tonight. I get picked up at 5:15am so that I can get to the van and get ready to go and then back to downtown to pick up my people and off we go on a big adventure. What a great way to practice before my big tour starts.

This morning I got out my binder for the trip and had a good look at all the details. Its got a ton of good information, times, locations and it includes a to-do list.

This afternoon I got onto a city tour and it was great fun. Being a cold and windy day today I was happy to see a regular motorcoach not an open top bus. Thank goodness. We had a driver guide. He was driving with one hand and talking on the microphone in his other hand. Pretty amazing driving doing it that way!

I'll be driving like that as well tomorrow. They don't have headsets just hand mics so we'll see how that goes. I'm getting nervous but it should be fun. The group yesterday really were all about having some fun and seeing the park and that's really what its all about.

So. Pretty boring day today really. I got alot done and now I'll have some dinner, pack my lunch and go to bed early. I've got an early wake up call!
