I had the great privilege to go to a ballgame in San Francisco. The AT&T Park. To watch the Giants play the Phillies. What fun! Tons of fans, great looking new stadium and great company. Evan and Chris and I went. The only three irresponsible ones from class decided to take the night off and go see a game.
We walked from class to the stadium. Its not as far as it seems from "Union Square" then we had to find our seats in the nose bleed section. What great seats though. We could see everything! Beers in that place were 9.75 each, can you believe it? I had a hotdog instead.
We walked back from there and stopped in at XYZ. Its in the W hotel. Get it? WXYZ? Funny. Drinks cost a small fortune there. And of all things they had a Ms. Pacman game, which was free to play. Weird.
We had a great time. Lots of laughs and some get to know you time as well.
I ran into my Englishman again today at breakfast. I didn't mention him before, he really flustered me yesterday and today I was better prepared. He wants to take me out tomorrow night (its 12:33 am so technically tonight) not sure where we'll go or what we'll do. He kissed my hand when he said good day to me this morning. I've never had that happen I don't think. We'll see. I am hoping he'll let me practice my commentary on him since we hit the road on Wednesday for our overnight tour of Yosemite. Yikes! I have a big topic and a full bus to present it to so I hope it goes well.
Its only Tuesday tomorrow. Feels like I've been here forever. Hard to believe really.
Well, off to bed. Its way past my bedtime now, I can hear all of my roommates sleeping right now. All three German now. We got a new one today. The girls who went to Yosemite are sound asleep. It must have been quite a day. I can't wait to hear all about it.
